Experiences of Systems Integration Management on Rail Transit Projects

This whitepaper looks at the Singapore Land Transport Authority's (LTA) systems integration management process for the design and construction of rail transit projects in the country. The process covers the entire project stage from start to finish for revenue operation, which is subdivided and mapped into well-designed project phases.

This paper addresses the strategies adopted to manage interface design and system integration as well as various pragmatic management methods from LTA's implementation experiences and the main system interface / integration problems encountered and subsequent solution developments.
