Aspect. The appearance of a
Signal (G,Y,R, etc). In some systems aspect refers to the number of signal lamps per unit (for example, a two-aspect signal or a three-aspect signal). This is confusing if one is accustomed to systems in which aspect means the physical aspect of an operating signal lamp. Position has the meaning of lamp units in some systems.
