Storm International company, which manages Shangri La network in the CIS and Storm Casino network in Germany, shared operating results of 2017. Michael Boettcher, Storm International founder, says about an increase in revenue by 12%. Accordingly, there was an increase in profits, this indicator has increased by almost 15%.
These operating results are a really good achievement, as the markets of the countries where the company operates are oversaturated. Despite the increased competition, Shangri La Yerevan and Shangri La Tbilisi have the best performance. The most outstanding growth was demonstrated by Armenian institution - almost 50%! Also, very good indicators of Tbilisi - an increase in 21%.
Shangri La, Michael Boettcher said, has a strong management team and a brand with pedigree, which attracts guests focused on high-class recreation. Also, the number of visitors increased due to the increase in international flights to Yerevan and Tbilisi. Some of the visitors are coming to gamble a bit.
