Markings

Markings. An ambiguous term denoting largely unlighted safety aids lacking Alphanumeric messages and whose symbolic messages are most often coterminous with the dimensions of the physical structure. Sign messages, by contrast, are imposed on, and within, the bounds of the physical structure, but they do not encompass its totality.
