Work has resumed on the construction of a 359m-tall rail bridge over the Chenab river in Jammu and Kashmir, India, after its alignment cleared a safety test.
The Chenab rail bridge is expected to be 35m taller than the 324m-tall Eiffel Tower in France and, on completion, is touted to be the world's tallest railway bridge.
The bridge is expected to be an important link in the 125km Katra to Banihal rail link, according to ptinews.com.
