Eurostar Cancels Trains Until Monday Following Fatal Belgian Train Crash

18 February 2010

Eurostar has announced it will not be running international services to Brussels from London until next Monday following last Monday's accident and passengers are advised to cancel travel plans until then.

Eurostar trains from London St Pancras are finishing at Lille and a coach shuttle service is being offered to get people to the Belgian capital.

A limited service is now running between Paris and Belgium and Eurostar trains are running as normal between London and the French capital.

Belgian railway staff continue to call unofficial strikes in the aftermath of the crash, which has claimed 18 lives so far.
