Norfolk Southern and Union Pacific Launch New Intermodal Service for Shippers

Norfolk Southern Railway and Union Pacific Railroad in the US have launched a new expedited intermodal service between Los Angeles and Atlanta, for refrigerated trailer shippers.

The service allows rail customers to get their refrigeration units serviced during the stop in El Paso, aimed at reducing protective service failure risk during transit.

This is now the fastest intermodal service between Los Angeles and Atlanta.
