Turkish Railways Gets First Passenger High Speed Delivery

The Turkish State Railways (TCDD) has received its first order of diesel high-speed trains from South Korean rolling stock producer Hyundai Rotem.

Hyundai Rotem is set to deliver 12 sets of passenger trains this year, capable of travelling up to 140 kilometres per hour, each costing €42 milliom, according to Turkish newspaper Zaman.
