Joint venture company BBMV has secured a ВЈ235m ($365.6m) contract for the Whitechapel and Liverpool Street Station Crossrail tunnels in the UK.
The joint venture features Balfour Beatty, Alpine BeMo Tunnelling, Morgan Sindall and Vinci Construction.
The project covers the construction of all station tunnels and associated works at the respective sites and forms an integral part of the wider Crossrail scheme.
Work will commence in February 2011 and is expected to be complete in five years.
