Rail Infrastructure Maintenance and Certification (R.I.M.A.C.) is a specialist in rail worksite protection, rail and track maintenance, lubrication and welding, and the new field in Australia of automatic track warning systems (ATWS). R.I.M.A.C. is comprised of a team of rail professionals with a long-term background and vast experience in the rail industry.

Our rail worksite protection staff include protection officers (POs) of levels one to four and hand signallers of levels one to two, and can be deployed to any work site in the rail corridor. Our protection staff are constantly tested and kept right up-to-date with current rules and procedures.

ATWS: automatic track warning system and secure wireless level crossing upgrade

Red Zone Protection, a division of R.I.M.A.C., has introduced the ATWS Track PRO warning system family for personnel working on tracks. This is the very latest secure wireless technology: easy to deploy and easy to use.

Track PRO 1 provides alerts for rail traffic approaching from one direction. It can be triggered automatically, manually or by a mixture of both. TrackPRO systems include personal tone and vibrate pagers for each worker, as well as the work site beacon that issues warning alerts: both audible and visual hi-intensity strobe. ICADs are in-cab alert devices for machinery, so that all receive the alerts at the same time.

Track PRO 4 provides alerts for rail traffic on a bi-directional single line. There is an option for an HMI control/monitor panel for data logging and a GSM unit for automatic fault reporting.

The HMI panel and the technology are used in the Level Crossing PRO system. This allows for extremely cost-effective and secure upgrades of passive to active level crossings. Level Crossing PRO offers full data logging, constant system health checking, instant SMS or email fault reporting, and remote secure system access.
