Sleeper-changing units

The low-weight RBS sleeper-changing unit is made of HARDOX and constructed with a coupling to accommodate rotor tilting.

Of solid and stable construction and with adjustable depth, it has secure lifts using a holding valve. It ease of operation includes adjustable rollers for use on rails.

Ballast tampers

RF-System's RST ballast tampers can be used for all types of ballasting machines. The RST 02 is used for ballasting machines weighing <8t, and the RST 03 for those with a weight of <25t.

Advantages of our RSTV double ballast tampers include low weight, low noise level, adjustable force, adjustable arms, adaptability to all machines, and a built-in vibrating unit.

Double-turnable ballast tampers

Double-turnable ballast tampers from RF-System have hydraulic turning and braking, can use dimensioned bearings, and possess adjustable automatics.

Sleeper-placing grappler

Our KSG grappler is used for placing both sleepers and kerbstones. Possessing rubber-protected grapple surfaces, it is available in various sizes and with an extensive range of couplings.

Trench-lid opener

The LÖP 02 is used to open existing trenches for extra cable and tube laying, It opens and closes in one movement, and can be used for lid widths of 355mm-535mm, wall thicknesses of 50mm-70mm, and lid thicknesses up to 65mm.

Ground compactors

MVS, GVS, RVS and RVE ground compactors can be used with machines of 0.4t - 50t. Featuring high-compaction values, they are easily adaptable to machines with or without rotor tilting.

Low oil consumption and minimised vibrational impact are other advantages of these ground compactors.

Our unique MVU/GVU/RVU ground compactors have a lower coupling, which makes them ideal for use with ballast tampers, skeleton buckets and pipe-pushing machines
