Analogue radio networks with simulcast technology

AEG Belgium delivers large analogue radio networks using simulcast technology to allow coverage over a very large area, while using a very small amount of frequencies. These networks are mainly, but not exclusively, used for voice and data applications.

We also offer specific applications that use networks such as GPS localisation, automatic vehicle localisation, data transmission, trunking and dispatching applications.

Tetra radio terminals

AEG Belgium is a market leader in terms of Tetra terminals in Belgium. We have deep knowledge of Tetra and Tetrapol infrastructure and, as a distributor of EADS terminals (formerly known as Nokia PMR) and an official supplier of Astrid customers (through the open contract), AEG Belgium has installed more than 25,000 radio terminals with federal and local security forces, fire brigades, public health services and other customers throughout Belgium.

Radio networks for the railway industry

AEG Belgium offers a variety of services, including data applications for Tetra customers (MDT, AVL and GPS), paging and alarm systems for fire brigades and public safety aerial dispatching systems (messenger) and indoor/ confined area radio coverage.

AEG Belgium has considerable expertise in the deployment of radio networks. Most of these references are analogue simulcast systems with combined voice and data applications, a technology in which AEG Belgium, with the analogue products of EADS/PMR, possesses a very long and successful experience.

LCD passenger information systems

AEG Belgium distributes LCD products from AEG MIS, the world leader in liquid crystal display systems with over 30 years of experience in LCD development and production.

The product range covers LCD information boards for indoor and outdoor applications. Different fonts and character heights are also available, allowing us to satisfy the specific needs of each customer.

Railway passenger information displays

AEG Belgium provides displays for railway station passenger information, public transport (stationary and mobile) information, park and traffic guidance systems, and trade and business information displays.

Our products are in use in 20 railway stations in Belgium, in the Brussels underground and in 20 stops along the coast tram line in Flanders.
