Integrated security software

Intellilink™ graphical user interface was developed by ARA Security Services and provides a software package, which integrates seamlessly with customers' existing security infrastructure and technology. The system also integrates with numerous security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarms, intercoms and pagers.

ARA designs and delivers digital surveillance solutions. We have the capacity to provide CCTV solutions to suit a range of customer requirements from small commercial to corporate and government organisations. Rail asset, maintenance and helpdesk management system

Purpose built for the task, AIMS is a web-based asset, maintenance and helpdesk management system that provides immediate feedback on work performed as technician's link wirelessly from the field. AIMS services include:

• Asset management - asset auditing, bar-coding and tracking using a PDA that provides fast, accurate, and consistent results for any asset and data collection requirements
• Maintenance management - planned and reactive maintenance works automatically scheduled and recorded against individual assets using the PDA with in-built barcode scanner
• Helpdesk management - service calls logged and individually tracked through to completion against the client's service level agreement, comprehensive incident tracking tools and automated escalation ensure prompt and accurate service delivery
• Customer portal - clients are provided access to their information in AIMS through a customised web portal, available via the internet

Rail security helpdesk and monitoring centre

A key component of ARA Security's customer service centre is our helpdesk. This provides a single point of contact across Australia for multi-disciplined services and maintenance on a 24/7 basis.

The helpdesk is fundamental to our work delivery as it allows us to administer and manage all aspects of routine and breakdown maintenance. It enables us to set in place maintenance regimes, allocate both internal and external resources, implement OH&S safe work method statements and procedures, successfully close out various maintenance tasks and manage our key performance indicator obligations and invoicing process.

ARA Security Services also has a fully operational, in-house security monitoring centre that has been approved as A1Grade by the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL).

Design and development of railway security applications

ARA's research and development team creates innovative solutions for our customers. The team is skilled in interactive design and development, and assists customers in achieving their security goals and objectives.

Projects currently under development by the R&D team include digital video monitoring, ongoing Intellilink™ integration into other third-party systems, and both physical and electronic ATM security applications.
