Foundry facilities for the railway industry

Fidax Foundry operates under the mandate of continuous improvement, resulting in the continual development of our foundry facility. This has led to our very modern and efficient manufacturing plant, in which all processes and procedures are governed under ISO9001:2000 accreditation.

Our facilities include the running of a disamatic green sand-molding machine, casting ductile and grey iron casting from 0.3kg to 30kg, induction melting furnaces and a first-class QC department, allowing for real-time melt treatment monitoring. This ensures our customers are able to rely on the quality and consistency of our products from then they place their order right through to end delivery and after-sales service.

Electrification castings, track and brake components for rail

Fidax offers track components for baseplates, shoulders and turnout components, brake components, including air brake systems and brake blocks, and rail electrification castings.
