MTM Power Introduces New Multi-Power Supply Systems With Up To 1.2kW Power

MPG series DC/DC power supply systems from MTM Power, the specialist for innovative power supplies, are designed for different applications in transportation, telecommunications and the charging of lead batteries during stand-by parallel operation.
The universally usable, modular and easy-to-scale system is based on PCMD200W and PCMD400W series DC/DC converters, which are proved in transportation applications. The series MPG2 is available with two plug-in positions and a total output power of 500W-800W, and the series MPG3 with three plug-in positions and a total output power of 750W-1,200W. With different wide input voltage ranges between 14.4VDC and 154VDC, the devices supply an output voltage of 12VDC, 24VDC, 48VDC, 72VDC and 110VDC. The output voltage operates with IU characteristic curve. The system can be switched into an energy-saving stand-by operation via a remote control input.
Further features are signalling of input and output voltage by an LED as well as a potential-free power good signal. The whole system is passively cooled by convection and is designed for an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +70°C.
