New High Voltage Converters Series HVC150

MTM Power has designed a new generation of high voltage converters especially for the use in automotive applications.
With this series HVC150 it is possible to supply electronical equipment directly out of 600V / 750V contact wire. These DC/DC converters are used for supplying points, signal lamps and electronic monitoring of the rail net.
The specific feature of the series HVC is its use as a self-starting module for trams or trolley buses for exhaustive discharged batteries so that the towing process can be avoided. The rugged design, together with high-quality components, guarantees the high reliability in vehicles even under shock and vibration conditions. The high efficiency allows a performance without forced ventilation.
Moreover, the converters work with an ambient temperature range from
-40...+85В°C acc. to EN 50 155. The series HVC150 is available with an output power of 150W to 250W and a galvanically seperated output voltage of 12V to 110V.
