Technology License Agreement Signed Between UniControls and China Northern Locomotive

UniControls has signed a technology license agreement with China Northern Locomotive and Rolling Stock Industry (Group) Corporation. The agreement was signed by the general manager of UniControls, Mr. Petr Stroner, in China on the 8th December 2006.
China Northern Locomotive and Rolling Stock Industry (Group) Corporation is an important Chinese corporation involved in design, manufacturing, refurbishment, overhaul and maintenance of electric and diesel locomotives, passenger coaches and freight wagons, electric and diesel multiple units, traction motors, and rolling stock.
The technology license covers a production of communication node TCN Gateway which represents a key component of the train unit control system infrastructure. Chinese companies gain access to modern products manufactured by a very limited number of companies in the world, without which modern trains are hardly imaginable.
Financial Volume Amounts to Tens of Millions of Czech Crowns
The technology license agreement was signed a year after a letter of intent had been signed during a visit of UniControls' delegation to China in December of last year. With the signing of the agreement the long-term active efforts of UniControls to penetrate a Chinese market were culminated. The possibilities for long-term co-operation and for other products and solutions of UniControls on this prospective market have been created.
