UniControls a.s. Will Sell Manufacture Technology to China

UniControls a.s. has signed a letter of intent on the manufacture technology transfer with China Northern Locomotive and Rolling Stock Industry (Group) Corporation. The agreement was signed in china, mid-December by the General Manager of UniControls - Mr. Petr Stroner.
Chinese and Czech companies both agreed to establish long term and strategic co-operation on the Chinese market in the field of electronic equipment for rolling stock. China Northern Locomotive and Rolling Stock Industry (Group) Corporation is an important player in the Chinese locomotive market and the implementation of modern manufacture technology from UniControls will significantly increase its competitiveness.
Co-operation in the first phase is concerned with the transfer of the manufacture technology of communication node TCN Gateway which represents a key component of the train unit control system infrastructure. Financial volume amounts to tens of millions of Czech Crowns.
Signing a letter of intent, and the long-term active efforts of UniControls, resulted in penetrating the prospective Chinese market. Alongside transfer of similar technology to Canadian company Quester Tangent Corporation last year, signing a letter of intent with a Chinese company represents the significant commercial success of UniControls in selling technological licences to important overseas companies in the field of rolling stock.
