OEM Accolades Keep on Coming

The pinnacle of Australian engineering was celebrated in Canberra in November 2008 at the Australian Engineering Excellence Awards, and OEM Technology Solutions was there. As a winner of the Sydney Division Engineering Excellence Awards, with its PC3 programmable controller, OEM was automatically entered into the national awards as a finalist.
The Australian Engineering Excellence Awards celebrate the accomplishments of some of the finest engineering companies and individuals in the world. Finalists in the awards are members of an elite group of Australia's premier engineers who have set global benchmarks for best practice in their fields of endeavour.
They are also considered leaders in the profession, showing world-class expertise and innovation in developing and implementing engineering solutions. As part of the judging process, great emphasis is placed on the impact the project has on the economic and social life of Australia.
OEM managing director, Richard Gobee, was invited to Parliament House Canberra for the awards and for a gala dinner. "The PC3 programmable controller is the first OEM Technology Solutions product to achieve this national recognition," he said. "It was a real honour to be recognised by Engineers Australia for our innovation and enterprise. Congratulations to all the members of our design and development team - it has been a fantastic effort."
