Disconnect Terminal Block with Three-Wire Connector

09 November 2006

The Quickon QTC product range from Phoenix Contact with insulation displacement technology now includes a disconnect terminal block with a three-wire connector. This permits signal lines to be looped through two insulation displacement contacts and evaluated at a further contact via a disconnect point. The triple bridge shaft allows the cross-bridging or testing of the potentials before and after the disconnect point at any time. Maintenance work can be performed easily in this way at any time.

With Quickon QTC insulation displacement technology, wires are simply inserted directly into a terminal point without any prior treatment; contact is established by means of a quarter turn of the screwdriver. This results in time savings of up to 60% for applications in signal and low-power wiring.

The multifunctional disconnect zone of Phoenix Contact's Clipline complete terminal block system allows disconnect knives and levers, fuse plugs, and component plugs to be inserted, as well as flush contour through contacts.
