DAKO-CZ - Compressed Air Railway Brakes

The DAKO compressed-air railway brake is one of the world's most modern brake systems. This brake system is firmly associated with joint stock company DAKO-CZ Třemošnice, which has been devoted to the development, design, production and sale of brake equipment for railway vehicles for decades.

The rolling stock of the Czech Republic's and Slovakia's railways are equipped with the DAKO brake system, as are thousands of other vehicles worldwide.

Nowadays, DAKO-CZ delivers its brake devices to domestic and foreign producers of locomotives, motor and other moving vehicles, freight cars and passenger coaches, and special railway vehicles.

State-of-the-art pneumatic brake system

The devices of the pneumatic brake system comply with international standards and UIC regulations. This includes the distributor valve, complementary valves, mechanical and electrical brake valves, brake cylinders and disc brake units. Additionally, this includes panels of devices of brake systems and the electronic anti-skid device, as well as devices for automatic continuous load-controlled braking, brake hose couplings and other additional brake devices.

Brake container

More and more customers are interested in our brake container. This container includes almost all parts of the DAKO compressed-air railway brake system (e.g. the distributor, complementary valves, the electrically controlled brake valve DAKO BSE, device panel, safety valves, cocks, check points, etc.).

All devices are interconnected by means of stainless pipes and the wiring system is carried out completely. The container design enables easy connection to the car's pneumatic system. All parts are tested before mounting to the container and before delivery a test of the whole brake container is carried out.

Tram brakes

We offer brakes for trams including electromechanical disc accumulator brakes, hydraulic accumulator brakes, and accumulator brakes for trailer vehicles.

DAKO-CZ is currently delivering the DAKO tram brake system for the new 14T, which will be operated in the Czech capital, Prague.
