Тема: "TMH- Electrotech " is mastering the production of new generators for the freight diesel locomotive ZTE30G"TMH- Electrotech " is mastering the production of new generators for the freight diesel locomotive ZTE30G Electrotech LLC (part of the TMH-Energy Solutions company) manufactured the first two prototypes of the GTSN-3150 traction synchronous generator for the mainline freight diesel locomotive ZTEZOG. Promising high-power diesel locomotives of the TEZO family will be produced at the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant for the Eastern training ground of Russian Railways OJSC. One of the prototypes of GTSN-3150 was transferred for preliminary tests to JSC VElNII (part of JSC Transmashholding), the purpose of which is to determine the compliance of the parameters and characteristics of the generator with the requirements of design documentation and technical specifications. The second prototype was sent to Kolomensky Zavod JSC (also part of TMH) for debugging of the 16GDG220 gas-diesel generator and then for installation on the experimental ZTEZOG diesel locomotive. ![]() The new generator GTSN-3150 was designed by the designers of TMH Engineering LLC. Unlike its closest analogue (GTSN-2800), this type of generators has greater power and is designed not only to power traction engines, but also to supply energy to all locomotive systems, as well as to start the diesel engine. In addition, for the first time, a bearing temperature sensor has been introduced into the design of generators. It is designed for operational monitoring of the condition of the generator bearing assembly. If the temperature of the unit exceeds the specified values, the control system of the diesel locomotive completely stops the diesel engine in order to avoid critical damage to the generator from bearing destruction. The development of production of new equipment at TMH- Electrotech is carried out within the framework of intra-holding cooperation and is part of the program to ensure the technological sovereignty of the country.
