Targets

Targets. This term can have two meanings. It can refer to an unlighted or partially-lighted signal consisting of a day signal (target), or it can refer to the day portion of a signal which integrates day and night dimensions. Many U.S. targets have lights but they can as easily have a day only indication. U.K. and related Disc signals are examples of the second form.
