On September 22, 2025, at the 1481st km of the Derevyankovka-Albashi section of the North Caucasus Railway, a fire occurred in an electric train traveling between Krasnodar and Starominskaya due to a short circuit in the wiring.
All passengers were evacuated; no one was injured. The fire was extinguished.
