Network Rail, ByBox Partner for Logistics Service

04 October 2010

UK-based logistics service provider ByBox, in partnership with Network Rail, has launched a logistics service at major mainline stations across London, UK.

The myByBox service collects goods ordered from a retailer, transports them through its network and delivers them to the customer's closest box, which will be a series of parcel collection points at any of the partnering stations.

The customer will receive a message by email or SMS text that informs them the goods are ready for collection, along with a unique security code to open the box.

Consumers can also use the company's online service to send goods to a secure ByBox delivery drop box.

ByBox drop boxes are available at Victoria and Euston Stations, with Paddington, Liverpool Street and St Pancras to follow this month.

Additional drop boxes will be rolled out to other Network Rail stations in and around London and across the UK by the end of the year.
