Network Rail has unveiled plans to install energy efficient LED technology on railway infrastructure applications in the UK.
Marl International's 407 series of LED indicators will be installed on all rail signalling applications, including control units and signal box diagrams.
The 407 series has a flat diffused assembly, providing enhanced visibility over a wide angle, even in sunlight.
The technology is available in red, yellow, green and white, with a black precision moulded housing that enhances mechanical stability and supports the standard intensity LED element and internal circuitry for 12V and 24V DC operation.
