The city of Oxford, England, will replace an existing railway bridge on the A34 to increase line capacity to transport more freight from the south.

The work is part of a ВЈ71m ($111m) project to improve the rail line between Southampton port and Nuneaton, through Reading, Didcot, Oxford and Banbury.

The project aims to provide quick and efficient way of transporting goods around the country, according to the BBC.

Work on the project will start in November and is expected to be completed by March 2011.
