Fluor Team to Proceed on Denver Rail Project

17 August 2010

Denver Transit Partners (DTP), part of construction service organisation Fluor, has reached financial closure in New York, US, and will proceed with the Eagle P3 commuter rail project (Eagle project) in Denver, Colorado.

DTP arranged for $452m in private financing, including $397.8m in private activity bonds.

The company will design and build the project for six years and control operations and maintenance of the project for a 30-year period following its completion.

The Eagle project is part of the regional transportation district's FasTracks Plan, a 12-year transit expansion programme to expand transportation throughout the eight-county area.
