DART to Review Financial Plan for Airport Link

16 August 2010

The draft budget for the final section of the rail link to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Dallas, US, is being reviewed by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART).

The project includes a section from Belt Line Station at Belt Line and State Highway 161 to Terminal A of the airport, and a Blue Line extension from Ledbetter Station to the UNT Dallas campus.

The proposed $1.25bn financial plan is to be carried out over 20 years.

The DART board is expected to approve the budget and financial plan on 28 September.

The Orange Line extension, I-3, is expected to be complete in 2014.
