Transport for London in the UK has awarded a contract to a Laing O'Rourke and Costain joint venture to redevelop London's Bond Street Tube station.
The station is a main gateway to London's West End and is served by the Central and Jubilee lines.
The ВЈ300m ($478.17m) scheme will upgrade the tube and build new Crossrail stations, which will connect to Bond Street station.
On completion of the upgrade, the station will feature a new entrance and ticket hall, escalators, improved interchanges, and pedestrian areas with new seating and lighting.
Work on the project will begin in 2011 and is scheduled for completion by 2017.
