Angola to Invest in Benguela Railways

The Angolan Government is to invest $200m to rehabilitate the Benguela Railways (CFB).

Angolan Deputy Minister of Transport José Kuvingwa said the works involve rehabilitation of bridges, the railway itself, stations, the telecommunication network and signs.

Train circulation in the region is expected to be restored within a year's time, according to portalangop.co.ao.

The CFB repair works are intended to improve economic growth in DR Congo, Zambia, Zimbabwe and others.
