Saudi Railway Company (SAR) will receive six locomotives and 125 wagons for its 2,400km railway project, which is set to open in December.
A SAR official said six of the 25 locomotive engines ordered for the north-south mineral railway have been completed in Canada.
Work on 125 of the 688 wagons ordered from China has also has been completed, according to Arab News.
The rest of the wagons are expected to arrive in August and the remaining locomotives in October this year.
The railway is supported by the Saudi Arabia's public investment fund.
