Historic UK Railway Bridge to be Renovated

The Royal Albert bridge, which connects Devon and Cornwall in the UK, will be renovated after plans for Network Rail to carry out the work were approved.

The 151-year-old bridge will be strengthened and refurbished over three years.

The structure is expected to undergo repair work to its corroded parts and will also be re-painted.

The total cost of the project is estimated at ВЈ10m ($14.5m), according to news.bbc.co.uk.
