Danish Operator Starts Major Corridor Project

14 June 2010

Danish railway operator DSB will replace 25km of track and 33 bridges on the Hillerød to Svanemøllen corridor in Copenhagen over the next three months.

The engineering works are likely to have an effect on traffic at Hellerup Station, one of the busiest train hubs in the Danish capital.

S-train traffic to Hellerup Station and between Svanemøllen Station and Lyngby Station should resume on 8 August and 9 August, according to cphpost.dk.

No S-trains are expected to run on the Lyngby to Hillerød line until 26 September 2010.
