Alstom Transport has delivered two renovated coaches for the Bucharest Metro in Romania, which is scheduled to come into commercial service in November this year.
The company will begin the mass renovation of 15 of the oldest train sets of the metro fleet for its operator Metrorex.
The project will also overhaul the coach's drive trains and auxiliary converters and replace the air production assemblies and braking systems.
Work is expected to begin in June and is scheduled to be complete by March 2012.
