At least 65 people have been killed and 200 injured after a terrorist attack on a high-speed train in West Bengal, India.
The attack on the Gyaneshwari Express occurred at 1.30am local time on the 28 May as it was travelling through the Maoist stronghold of Jhargram.
According to officials, the driver reported a large bang, suggesting an explosion, although parts of the track have also been tampered with.
India's Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee told Reuters that he believed Maoist rebels were involved in the attack.
The incident comes days after an Air India crash that killed 158 people and has called into question the safety of India's aging infrastructure.
Maoist rebels were the prime suspects after an attack in March on India's prestigious Rajdhani Express.
