International rail operator Eurostar has announced the introduction of a standard premier class for economy travellers.
The mid-range class, which will include extra space and services, is expected to replace the existing leisure select class.
Eurostar commercial director Nick Mercer said the ticket will complement the business premier and standard classes to meet the needs of customers.
The standard premier tickets are expected to go on sale from 1 September 2010.
