Arriva has received a contract to operate regional passenger services in the Netherlands.
The UK-based company has been chosen by three provinces in the country to manage the Vechtdal Lines.
The Zwolle-Emmen route is expected to be handled by Arriva from 2012 and the MariГ«nberg-lmelo line from 2013.
The contract is scheduled to run to 2027, according to railwaygazette.com.
