River Bridge Construction Begins for Chinese Rail Project

Construction has begun on the Tongling Yangtze River Bridge for the Hefei-Fuzhou Railway project in China.

The CNY3.7bn ($541m) bridge is expected to act as a highway and railway transit bridge.

At 16.7km, the bridge will have four railways and one highway and is expected to have two 220m-high towers and five 630m-long spans.
