Australia to Construct Sydney Rail Link

16 April 2010

A new rail link worth $2.1bn is being planned for Sydney by the state of New South Wales (NSW), Australia.

The project is part of NSW's Metropolitan Transport Plan and is expected to build more than 11km of new twin tracks in the region.

The southwest rail link is expected to help in the development of Australia's southwest growth centre.

The project is scheduled to be completed by 2016, according to liverpool-leader.whereilive.com.
