Midas Joint Venture Wins China Metro Contract

Midas Holdings' joint venture has received orders for 25 train sets for China's Suzhou metro.

Nanjing SR Puzhen Rail Transport Company (NPRT) is expected to supply the train sets, each comprising four metro cars, by 2012.

The contract for the 100 Type B metro cars is valued at CNY474m ($69m).

NPRT is involved in the development, manufacture and sale of metro trains, bogies and their related parts.
