Bulgaria will build a single two-track tunnel on the Sofia metro Line 2 within 15 months.
The tunnel is expected to be dug up over the 3.8km central section of Line 2 and will have four stations, according to www.railwaygazette.com.
Line 2 has an indicative budget of €245.7m ($378m).
The project is funded by the EU’s Operational Programme for Transport.
