Transport provider Asciano Group said it has secured a A$150m ($135m) rail haulage contract with Sadleirs Transport.
The intermodal contract is expected to haul freight between Melbourne and Perth for Australian freight forwarding company Sadleirs Transport.
Revenues from the multi-million dollar scheme will be derived over the next seven years, according to transportintelligence.com.
The deal is expected to extend the existing arrangement between Sadleirs' and Asciano's Pacific National operation.
Pacific National, an Australian private rail freight business and subsidiary of Asciano, transports freight from Sydney to Perth.
