Transurb Technirail Seeks Tie-Up with Indian Railways

Transurb Technirail is planning to partner with Indian Railways to supply technology for its high-speed trains and redevelop its stations.

The Belgian transport services company is looking at building rolling stock and supplying technologies such as French TGV, German magnetic elevation and Japanese Shinkansen.

The company is planning to build a base in India and work with companies from Bangladesh and Africa.

Transurb Technirail, as part of the Princely Economic Mission, will be visiting India along with 13 Belgian transport infrastructure companies between 20 and 27 March, according to dnaindia.com

The transport solutions companies include Besix, Eurostation, ERTMS Solutions, Gantrex, FITA, Eld Partnerships, J K Structure and Tractabel Engineering, among others.

Transurb Technirail operates in 70 countries with more than 300 projects in heavy railways and 200 projects in 50 countries in mass urban transport.
