India’s Quazigund-Anantnag Rail Line Ready to Open

The 20km-long Quazigund-Anantnag rail line in the Indian state of Kashmir is set to open for passenger use, following a successful trial run.

The line's completion marks the end of the nine-year project to build a 120km-long rail line from Quazigund to Baramulla in the state.

The stretch has been built with an investment of Rs3,200 crore and runs through 113 minor and major bridges along the route.
