German regional transport operator Landesnahverkehrsgesellschaft Niedersachen (LNVG) has awarded a new €19m maintenance contract to Bombardier for two Traxx locomotives and 34 double-deck intermediate and driving coaches.
The latest deal is an extension of the previous maintenance contract between the two companies, which now totals €41m for 40 Traxx locomotives and 220 double-deck coaches.
The vehicles will be used on various routes in the German state of Lower Saxony.
The contract period will end in 2022.
