Historic Chinese Rail Line Reopens After Restoration

A 100-year-old inter-city railway in the Chinese city of Shenyang has been reopened following eight months of renovation work.

The 66.1km rail line links the provincial capital city of Shenyang with Fushun.

The renovation will allow passengers to travel between the two cities in 49 minutes, down from the earlier 1.5 hours.
