TransLink to Get Seven More BiLevel Commuter Railcars

07 July 2009

Canadian transport operator TransLink has awarded German company Bombardier Transportation a $18m contract to supply seven BiLevel commuter rail vehicles for the West Coast Express.

The new rail vehicles will add to the existing fleet of 37 similar vehicles in use in the Metro Vancouver region of the West Coast Express.

The fleet is already the largest for BiLevel Coaches in North America.

The vehicles are expected to be delivered between July and September 2010.
