The European Railway Agency's (ERA) new headquarters has been inaugurated at Valenciennes in France.
The funds to construct the building were given by the city of Valenciennes (€4.6m), the French Government's National Fund for Land Planning & Development (€1.5m) and the Nord-Pas de Calais Regional Council (€1.5m).
Staff from 20 countries will occupy the building at the end of July 2009.
