Engineering and construction firm McConnell Dowell has selected technology firm Aconex to manage information of the US$224m Beauty World Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station development project in Singapore.
Aconex's web-based system will help team members access the most up-to-date information and reduce administrative costs such as printing and couriers, and risk of information loss.
The project, which is a part of Downtown Line Stage 2 scheme, includes construction of underground stations, developing underground tunnels, subway links and external landscaping.
It links commuters from the Bukit Timah corridor to the North East Line, North South Line and Circle Line, connecting the north western part of Singapore to the Marina Bay area.
The project is set to be completed in 2015.
